Upper Wharfedale

This beautiful area features classic Yorkshire Dales scenery. Scores of field barns dot the flower-rich meadows near the River Wharfe, while the traditional dry-stone walls climb the hillsides as they rise up to over 2,000 feet. The Dales Way runs through the 6,000 acre estate which also includes splendid woodlands and waterfalls. The landscape is particularly spectacular in the Autumn.
